Global Group Work Project 
My name is Anna Ortega. I am a social worker in Red Hook Brooklyn. I have worked here since 2002. I have been a social worker now for over 10 years. It has been a powerful process to understand group work and how to use it for learning, healing, and community building. I’m an activist, so I also see how groups are a part of making the world a place I would like to leave to my niece and nephew (and the next child on the way.) I will be posting up information about what I groups I’ve facilitated, as well as those of my coworkers here at the Red Hook Initiative. You can learn more about us at http://www.rhicenter.org.
